The annual NSSA SPINE Conference 2024 was held from 19th to 22nd September, 2024 and organised by the Department of Neurosurgery, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hyderabad. The theme of the conference was ‘Optimising spine surgery with Technology’. Dr. Manas Panigrahi (organising chairman) and Dr. Savitr Sastri (organising secretary) scheduled the pre-conference CME on 19th September 2024, followed by conference with a promising academic fiesta and a post-conference hands-on workshop on models for training for the newer techniques and technology at KIMS, Hyderabad.
The meeting was attended by close to 500 delegates including many international faculty members and was praised for the rich scientific content, symposiums and flawless execution. Prof. P. S. Ramani Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred upon Dr. Sushil Patkar, past-president and an ardent follower of NSSA.
